My name is Dexter Liao. I am a Filipino-Chinese and started as full-time financial advisor in March 2013. This is also my first year as an MDRT qualifier. This has been a great journey for me since I met a lot of my colleagues in the insurance industry. I traveled in Canada as an incentive of AIA Philippines (formerly AIA Philam Life). I attended worthwhile seminars at the MDRT convention inside and outside the country. With so much excitement and dedication to this career, I became an MDRT again in 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, and 2018. My greatest achievement was when AIA Philippines (formerly AIA Philam Life) gave me a chance to lead a team. In 2017, I was promoted to Unit Manager of Dream Life Philippines. With me are my dedicated colleagues and financial advisors who helped and supported me all the way. Handling the team is an honor and privilege as we respect individual differences.

Also in 2017, I became Top of the Table in the entire company. I topped both in First Year Premium and Policy Count. Those were happy and blessed moments where I saved a lot of lives through insurance products. I submitted a minimum of Php 2 million paid and collected FYP every month. This was the year when I was awarded as Top Asian Circle of Excellence in the company. Modesty aside, AIA Philippines (formerly AIA Philam Life) also helped and rewarded me with a lot of travels, commissions and best of all, memorable experiences that I will surely treasure in my lifetime. I always apply this Confucian principle in my profession: “choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life.”
